Candidates planning to sit for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry examination can now accelerate their preparation as the timetable for their examination has been released. According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the UTME would hold from Saturday, 5 to Saturday, 19 June 2021, The Nation reports.
Premium Times added that registration for the examinations will start on Thursday, 8th April to Saturday, 15th May 2021. According to the board, there will be no extension of time for the sale of the UTME/DE application documents. This was disclosed in a statement JAMB's Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin.
Meanwhile, JAMB said it is now compulsory for applicants to supply their National Identity Number (NIN) before they can register for the examinations, adding that registration will take place in 700 Computer – Based Test Centres nationwide.
